Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) represent a high percentage of the industry in our country, they are also a source of employment for many people; however, many of these fail to consolidate in the market; on the other hand, rural communities lack a solidification of their productive sector and have various environmental problems; Thus, carrying out social responsibility actions by MSMEs in rural communities can represent a benefit for both. Social responsibility actions undertaken by MSMEs in rural areas can allow these companies to be identified by the local population where such actions are carried out, as well as by the surrounding areas. The research seeks give to know the social responsibility activities that MSMEs can perform within rural areas, through which both are benefited; in the case of the first ones with these actions, they would be identified as companies concerned with their social, economic and environmental surroundings and with this they will be able to achieve a greater degree of consolidation in the market; on the other hand, rural communities will be able to consolidate their productive sector, as well as face some environmental problems that result in health problems.
